Job Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in 3D CAD Mechanical software, knowledge of Solidworks is preferred
- Candidate shall be attentive to detail, self-motivated, creative and team oriented.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of MIL STD requirements and experience in electronic packaging requirements for military environments
- Experience in the mechanical design of electronic assemblies such as computers or displays
- Detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task to meet multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of LCD panel/ video display operation.
- Background in basic electrical engineering.
General Job Responsibilities:
- Extracting and understanding customer requirements.
- Design and development using SolidWorks preferred, generate technical solutions compliant to the specification.
- Defining and supporting the production baseline for the entire range of display products.
- Generation of manufacturing drawings detailing technical solutions.
- Supporting configuration management throughout the product life cycle.
- Interfacing with production, QC, purchasing and sales for elaborating high end cost efficient solutions
